Nick VI is the newest addition to the Father Christmas series. He's a kindly old gent, wearing antique specs and a robe made from an old comforter, mostly of wools. The robe is trimmed in recycled fur of unknown origin. He carries a special walking stick carved by June's husband, Roy. Look closely at the close up below to see the wood spirit peeking from the top of the stock. He's pretty impressive.
Note that he's carrying some real treasures. In his bag of goodies, there's another small mohair bear -- about 8 inches -- and a vintage Raggedy Ann doll and small clown.
Nick VI stands about 20 inches tall, is made from two kinds of mohair. He has glass eyes, leather nose and paw pads, and hand-painted accents.
