The Christmas Carol is a special gallery piece made exclusively for the TBAI (Teddy Bear Artists Invitational) August 17-18,2001. This show is a benefit for the Ross Park Zoo endangered species program. Proceeds from the sale of gallery pieces donated by each artist will benefit the program.
Ebearneezer wears antique gold-filled specs, a cashmere top hat, velvet cloak and hand-knit scarf over his night shirt. He was in a hurry Christmas morning, you know. Tiny Tim wears a corduroy jacket over cotton twill pants, a wool fringed scarf, and an ultra suede hat. He waves his crutch in joy for the transformed "Scrooge". Clothes and hats hand-made by artist. Ebearneezer's scarf by friend Joan Fitting.
Base has cobblestones and slate formed from clay. Completely hand-crafted wood wagon by June's husband, Roy. Tom turkey is molded from polymer clay. The lantern can hold a votive candle as shown in the photo. Leather pawpads and noses. Glass eyes.
SORRY. Ebearneezer and Tiny Tim have been adopted.
